BWA was one of the organizers for the RCOY CA and Afghanistan endorsed by YOUNGO, bringing together 200+ young leaders across Central Asia and Afghanistan in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
In September 2024, BWA served as one of the organizing team members for the ALCOY 2024. This event gathered virtually 150 Afghan youth from 28 provinces under the theme "Flash Flood Preparedness."
In August 2025, in collaboration with Gawharshad University, a capacity-building seminar on environmental protection was conducted in Kabul. The seminar brought together 50 participants, including students, youth, activists, and university staff, to increase their awareness about climate change, its impacts, and potential solutions in Afghanistan.
In September 2025, BWA served as one of the organizing team members for ALCOY 2025, engaging over 615 Afghan youth and children in climate dialogue and education. As a result, we created the Afghan National Youth Statement on Climate Change — a unified youth declaration for a greener future.
